They finally married on Sunday after first becoming engaged in April, and newlywed bliss is still there for Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy.

The two briefly resurfaced on their Twitter accounts following their August 31 nuptials to share their first official post-wedding photo as a couple, with each one of them calling married life "heaven."

Both posted a photo of Wahlberg kissing his bride's hand as he looks at her with an adoring gaze. While McCarthy doesn't look back she does have a smile on her face as she extends her left hand towards her husband-showcasing both her impressive yellow sapphire engagement ring and her new wedding band.

"Mr & Mrs Wahlberg, checking in from heaven. Thank you for all of your well wishes. #happy," Walhberg captioned the photo.

Though the couple appears happy and full of bliss, their wedding wasn't without its fair share of reported drama, with news of a potential rift between the couple and Donnie's equally famous brother Mark surfacing just days before the Chicago ceremony-as it was revealed he would not attend.

And though he did tweet his well-wishes to his brother the day before the wedding and share a video of himself with his wife, Rhea Durham and their kids wishing them the best, rumors circulated that he and his wife skipped out on the wedding because they actually didn't like McCarthy, and Durham was especially upset with the bride after she talked about Mark on Howard Stern's radio show.

However, Mark and his wife claimed they were not attending the wedding because they were celebrating their daughter's birthday at the same time, due to Mark's work schedule keeping him away from home on her actual birthday.
