It is hard to imagine that the next Hunger Games movie is coming up and it feels like not that much has been shown from the second to last film in the franchise. But a new poster surfaced today and offered a glimpse at the demons Katniss is facing in the next chapter.

New 'Hunger Games' Posters Give First Glimpse At The Rebel Warriors

The new poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 features Jennifer Lawrence, who plays main hero Katniss Everdeen, facing away from the front and showing off her new dark look complete with her iconic bow and arrow. This is another sign that Katniss will be much more bleak than she was in the past two movies after the events of Catching Fire left her with her friend, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) stuck with the Capitol.

The poster is a starch contrast from an earlier poster, which is in all white, and shows Peeta and Joanna (Jena Malone) with President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and all of them are facing forward.

'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Director Talks Ramifications Of Last Movie

Having Katniss turn her back away from the camera is also a hint at how the character will be acting early on in the film as she tries to get a handle on what happened at the end of the last games and her new role as leader of the rebellion. Katniss has a lot to take in and this new dark look is the best way to personify it.

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence from a script by Danny Strong. The film stars Jennifer, Liam Hemsworth, Hutcherson, Malone, Sutherland, Jeffrey Wright, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci and Sam Claflin. Mockingjay: Part 1 also introduces Julianne Moore as President Coin.

The film opens in theaters on November 21.
