Jenelle Evans is not the only star of MTV's Teen Mom 2 to have more than one child. While the reality star would like to eventually try for a girl, Evans has assured fans that she doesn't want more kids anytime soon. She is still getting her life together, and that means birth control is a must.

"Remember ladies birth control is VERY important!!!" tweeted Evans on Thursday.

There are many different types of birth control out there, but Evans already had hers all picked out when she went to get the implant this week. "This is Nexplanon and lasts for 3 years," she explained alongside a Twitter photo showing her bicep wrapped in a bandage. "I highly recommend it!"

The response to Evans' decision, however, was mixed. Some fans agreed with the choice, while others insisted they had an unfavorable experience with the implant.

"Every girl's body is different," Evans replied on Twitter after receiving a huge wave of comments, some positive and some negative. "Some people Nexplanon works for, some it doesn't work. If you heard it didn't work don't get discouraged! Try!"

Evans may seem a bit zealous about the birth control, but after an abortion and giving birth to two sons, the reality star has come to depend on it in order for her to continue her studies and support her newborn Kaiser.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
