As a guest on a recent episode of The Colbert Report, Kevin Spacey, who plays Frank Underwood on House of Cards, spoke to Stephen Colbert about the current Islamic terrorism, given the recent emergence of the ISIS.

On the evening of September 3, the actor responded to Colbert's question about his opinion on the dismal state of affairs when it came to this new threat. "A dog doesn't need to show his teeth as long as his growl's deep enough, his food bowl is full and he knows where all the bones are buried," Spacey responded in true Underwood fashion.

Colbert noted Spacey's "menacingly homespun" tone, hinting at his character in the Netflix series.

While this was all fun and games, it could make for a credible storyline on the show -- to see how cold-blooded Frank would deal with this new outfit of terrorism which threatens Americans as well.

Spacey played on, and in character as Underwood agreed to take Colbert under his wing, should the comedian decide to switch careers and become a politician. As fictional president, Spacey asked Colbert to meet him at the train station and to inform everybody that he was on his way to committing suicide -- hearkening Zoe Barnes's (Kate Mara) death in the last season.

The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
