Jenelle Evans gets a lot of heat as one of MTV's most controversial young parents Teen Mom 2. Lately though, the star seems to be moving in the right direction and her boyfriend Nathan Griffith is there to support her even when the going gets tough.

"I love how @PbandJenelley_1 says one thing totally irrelevant and ppl assume it's to start drama!" tweeted Griffith on Friday in reference to the reality star. "It's not anything you would know!"

In spite of some fighting on the MTV series, Griffith and Evans seem to get along when it comes to social media. In fact, the two appear head over heels for each other and their friends seem to agree.

"@PBandJenelly_1 tell baby Jace me and @GroundLevelUp [Griffith] have his back and that I'm digging the new look," added friend Ryan Dolph on Sunday when Evans was under fire for letting five-year-old Jace get a Mohawk. Fans also jumped to the mother's defense, claiming it was just a haircut and Jace is in fact only a child.

After Evans and Griffith got beyond the initial mania over Jace's hair, the pair quickly settled back into family life.

"I'm so happy both of us r going to school," tweeted Evans to her beau on Monday, adding a cartoon lipstick kiss and blushing smiley face. "My best friend."

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
