'Revenge' Season 4: Emily Addicted To Vengeance, Unwilling To Resume Old Identity? [VIDEO]
Revenge's Emily Thorne achieved her life-long goal by clearing her father's name, and soon Ms. Thorne will have to redefine her life.
Unfortunately for Emily (Emily VanCamp), that won't be easy. Shedding the woman she's been for so long and resuming her old identity as Amanda Clarke will present a few interesting problems for the revenge master.
"What does a person do once when they finish their life's mission? She had a plan before, which was disappearing with Aiden in yet another new, manufactured identity. But that dream was derailed by Victoria," explained writer Ted Sullivan, according to EmilyThorne.org. "So, now Emily needs to redefine herself alone. But she's unwilling to leave the Hamptons or even this fake identity. Why is that? Is she more Emily than Amanda now? Or is holding on to the Emily persona a way to hold on to Aiden? Or is there some other reason behind this choice?"

In the meantime, Emily will have to put her revenge skills to rest - yet another challenge.
"Emily VanCamp is fond of saying that Emily Thorne is addicted to revenge,' Sullivan said. "If that's the case, how does she keep revenge-ing when the targets of her revenge are gone?"
