The creator and showrunner of FX's Sons of Anarchy is revealing new details about what might happen if Jax (Charlie Hunnam) finds out about Gemma (Katey Sagal) murdering Tara (Maggie Siff).

Charlie Hunnam "Really Sad" About Sons of Anarchy Ending; More Violence Ahead For Show

Series creator Kurt Sutter spoke with TVGuide.com recently about the tension with Gemma keeping quiet about murdering Tara in the Season 6 finale and what would happen if Jax were to find out.

"Gemma is trying to juggle that lie, deal with the remorse and the guilt of that lie... and I just felt like that tension is really great," Sutter said, regarding the show dragging out the ultimate revelation. "If and when Jax gets that information about Gemma, there's not a lot of things that can happen other than his reaction, the heartbreak of that and what does he do in that moment. There's not a lot of room for anything else after that."

Sons of Anarchy's Juice Has "A Revelation About Himself" In Final Season

However, the report claims that Gemma will be a bit paranoid when she discovers that Unser (Dayton Callie) has begun to investigate Tara's murder.

Could Gemma find herself dead by the end of the series? It would certainly be in line with the show's Shakespearean tragedy undertones, which mostly resolve with most if not all of the main characters dying. It remains to be seen if Jax would actually go so far as to orchestrate her death, though it seems unlikely at this point in the series.

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
