The main title revelation is coming soon according to the directors of Captain America 3 and they have also said that it was being worked on for a long time before the movie even was confirmed. But could this movie follow a plot line that includes the rumored new team that Steve Rogers will lead?

Is Captain America Getting A New Look In An Upcoming Movie?

MoviePilot speculated on Wednesday of a possible direction the story could go and what the title of the next movie could be. The name they came up with was Captain America: The Secret Avengers.

In the comics, the Secret Avengers is a comic storyline that depicts a black-ops sect of Marvel's premiere super hero team, the Avengers, which operates under the guidance and leadership of Steve Rogers. The roster includes: Beast, War Machine, Valkyrie, Moon Knight, Nova, Black Widow, Sharon Carter and Ant-Man.

While some of these character are not available to Marvel (like Beast), most of them are heroes that have yet to be revealed. It is already known that Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) will be involved in the movie as well as Sharon Carter (Hayley Atwell).

Moon Knight and Nova are two heroes who could be added to the team during the rumored end of Avengers 2 that has Rogers assembling a new team of superheroes. Nova has been long rumored to be involved in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and could be introduced in Avengers 2, be apart of Rogers' team in Captain America 3, and finally meet up with the Guardians in the sequel to tie the worlds together.

Another name not listed that could join the team is Captain Marvel, who could take the spot of Beast. War Machine (Don Cheadle) is also showing up in Avengers 2 and could be set-up for a larger role in the universe afterwards.

Ant-Man, of course, will be introduced in the movie following Avengers 2 and could possibly show up to join this team later on even though it is more likely they will wait to have Paul Rudd join the team as a full Avenger.

Captain America 3 is set to open in theaters on May 6, 2016.
