A new teaser poster for Insidious: Chapter 3 was recently revealed and it is eery using only text to convey the terror.
"The man who can't breathe, the man who loves in the vent, I heard him saying your name last night, I heard him on your room while you were gone, he's in there right now, standing in your room."
The creepy message is enough raise fans' hairs and amp the anticipation for the movie.
This is the first revealing poster for the movie, the others have mostly just been posters of the lead actors like Dermon Mulroney.
Mulroney, Stefanie Scott and Lin Shaye star in the movie. The filming was completed rather quickly in a matter of months, given the efficiency of the team it seems like pulling out a teaser to satiate fans shouldn't take that long either.
Filming for Insidious Chapter 3 officially wrapped on August 19. Blum (Blumhouse Productions) is co-producing the third film with Peli (Paranormal Activity). Whannell, who wrote the first two chapters of the franchise -- which were directed by James Wan (Fast and Furious 7) -- is helming Insidious 3.
Here's the official movie synopsis:
"In Insidious: Chapter 3, a twisted new tale of terror begins for a teenage girl and her family, predating the haunting of the Lambert family in the earlier movies and revealing more mysteries of the otherworldly realm The Further."
Insidious: Chapter 2 was released on Sept. 13 and topped the U.S. box office scoring $41.1 million over in its opening weekend. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, and Barbara Hershey reprised their roles from the first film in the series.
The first film followed the story of the haunted Lambert family, whose son inexiplicably enters a comatose state and becomes a vessel for demons. In Insidious: Chapter 2, the married couple try to explore the secrets that tie them to the paranormal world and the demons that possessed their son.
Insidious 3 will release on May 29 2015.
