Rumors that she was telling her Big Bang Theory bosses to work around a potential pregnancy caused a firestorm of fans wondering if Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was pregnant with her husband's baby, but the actress has once again put the rumors to rest, telling Ellen DeGeneres that she had other things to do first.

Did Kaley Cuoco Leak Her Own Nude Photos?

The actress appeared on the September 19 episode of the talk show, where Degeneres asked her about her plans to expand she and Ryan Sweeting's family, causing Cuoco to admit that she needs to get better control over taking care of her dogs first.

"We [want to have kids], we can't wait," she said. "We actually just rescued another dog, everyone that loves me knows I'm a big dog lover so I just got a really small one, a little rescue, her name's Ruby. And we do want to have kids, but I'm a little...I've lost this dog in the backyard so many times that I feel like I have to practice not losing her, so I don't actually lose my child."

"That's what I'm basing it on, because she's pretty white and noticeable, so I keep thinking if I can't find her..." she added.

Her response caused Degeneres to joke with her about how children would be different from her dogs.

"Yeah....children don't dig under fences a lot," she said. "It's going to be different when you have a child."

Laughing, Cuoco continued with her justifications for not having kids just yet, saying she wants to nail down taking care of her dogs first.

'She's just the same size, so it kind of makes me that I have one, but...I lose track of her because she's so small," she said. "We have her, she's fine! But I just figure, until I can nail that down, then we can have a baby."

"I'm not pregnant!" she added.

Cuoco and her husband married in a New Year's Eve wedding, six months after they began dating, They became engaged in September of last year, just three months after beginning their relationship and just days after going public at the Primetime Emmy awards.
