After Finding Carter ended its first season with a shocking finale, some theories have been unveiled on what's about to take place next season, involving romance and more hidden secrets.

Chatter On A 'Creepy' Moment In 'Finding Carter'

On Thursday, MTV posted a behind-the-scenes clip of the finale and what the actors had to say about it. They also speculated on what they expect and desire for next season, including what might happen for Taylor and Max now that they're broken up.

Anna-Jacoby Herron (Taylor) dished on how her character was trying too hard to take care of Max while he was in the hospital even though he wants her to move on with her life. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for them although the actress is hoping that that can be changed eventually.

"I hope that they come back together and find what they had before," Herron said. "Hopefully."

While that's something to think about, another story that will take place is what was really going on between David and Lori. Even though David has come off as the nice dad, there's something underneath that may surprise viewers.

"I know some of David's secrets," Alexis Denisof (David) said. "I don't think I know all of them, there's much more to David than we first suspect."

As for the last moment that took place when Carter's fake mother kidnapped her again, Cynthia Watros who plays Carter's biological mother, Elizabeth, mentioned that the next season will have some "big surprises."

Finding Carter Season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in 2015 on MTV.
