Plot synopses for the next two episodes of The Big Bang Theory's eighth season have been released and it looks like more relationship drama ahead.

Sheldon 'Down On Himself' After Getting Robbed In Arizona in The Big Bang Theory Premiere

After Monday night's two-episode Season 8 premiere, the series will be giving the entire ensemble some juicy material in the new two episodes. The third episode of the season is titled The First Pitch Insufficiency, which airs Monday, Sept. 29 and features Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) stressing out over being asked to throw the first pitch at a Los Angeles Angels game.

Additionally, the episode will feature Sheldon (Jim Parsons) asserting to the now engaged Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) that he and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are actually the "superior couple," comparatively.

Raj 'Still In the Honeymoon' With Emily In New Season of The Big Bang Theory

The fourth episode of the season is titled The Hook-Up Reverberation, which will air Monday, Oct. 6. In the episode, Raj's [Kunal Nayyar] honesty about his past comes back to haunt him after his girlfriend, Emily [Laura Spencer], is cold to Penny. Also, the guys consider becoming part-owners in Stuart's [Kevin Sussman] comic book store."

Longtime fans of the show will remember that Raj and Penny almost hooked up in the past, though they ultimately wound up falling asleep before they could do anything. The rest of the gang was informed that they slept together, however, so that may have something to do with Emily not liking Penny.

The Big Bang Theory airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The series will continue airing on Monday until the last week in October, at which point it will switch back to Thursdays at 8 p.m.
