New Reasons On Why Paulina Gretzky's Fiancé Dustin Johnson Left PGA

The 25-year-old revealed the news on her Instagram account earlier saying that her and Johnson were so excited to share the news.

In August, The New York Post reported that Johnson announced a leave of absence from the PGA. "I am taking a leave of absence from professional golf, effective immediately," Johnson said, three days after withdrawing from the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio because of what he said were "personal reasons.''

Why Paulina Gretzky's Fiancé Dustin Johnson Is Leaving The PGA

"I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced,'' Johnson continued, "By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion. I respectfully ask my fans, well-wishers and the media for privacy as I embark upon this mission of self-improvement."

In August, Golf.com also reported that Johnson failed three drug tests, including two for cocaine. The website reported that he was put on a six-month suspension for his alleged second charge.

However, the PGA later denied this claim. "With regard to media reports that Dustin Johnson has been suspended by the PGA Tour, this is to clarify that Mr. Johnson has taken a voluntary leave of absence and is not under a suspension from the PGA Tour," PGA Tour executive vice president Ty Votaw said in a statement.

Johnson and Gretzky have been engaged since last year.
