A new trailer with footage from FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show has been released, with a heavy emphasis on Sarah Paulson's conjoined twin characters, Dot and Bette Tattler.

American Horror Story: Freak Show Will Have Longest Premiere Yet

The trailer, which was released through BuzzFeed on Tuesday, features the first real footage from the upcoming season. The one-minute trailer is most centered on Dot and Bette's arrival at the freak show.

One of the twins sounds as if she's writing a diary as she states:

New Villain On American Horror Story: Freak Show To Be Most Terrifying

"It was in the fall when I realized the world I had known was forever doomed. I knew I was about to enter the gates of Hell, but like the inescapable pull of gravity, there was nothing I could do about it."

Based on the cynical nature of her words, it seems like this is Dot speaking, considering she was announced to be be the one with more "darkness of depression" in her.

Presumably the other twin, Bette, who is more innocent, has her own words, saying:

"Dear Diary, I have seen my future - it is pink and wrapped in silk!"

Bearded lady Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates) tells Dot and Bette that they will be big stars and that they're going to be "packing that house night after night." Dot does not take kindly to this, saying that they're not "trained monkeys."

"Lobster Boy" Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) has a standout moment in the trailer as well, telling men who want to run them out of town, "Don't call us freaks!"

The trailer ends with a sneak peek at Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch), who appears in front of a girl's bed. Terror ensues.
