It seems as though Tori Spelling is trying to save her family money these days, and in a very unique way as well. The actress, who has been having financial difficulties lately along with her husband Dean McDermott, was spotted wearing a CASH smartwatch while she was out and about in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday.

According to the Daily Mail, Spelling is wearing the watch to help track her spending throughout the day. The new gadget is "the first and only financial smart watch on the market" which helps track where money is being spent for consumers.

Meanwhile, it was reported just last week that Spelling is taking a pay cut for the upcoming second season of her Lifetime reality show, True Tori.

According to Radar Online on Thursday, McDermott won't even be getting a paycheck from the show.

A source tells the site, "Lifetime was interested in doing another season of the show. However, Tori had to be willing to take a pay cut, a big one, and she did."

The insider added, "The pay cut was significant. Tori is making only $50,000 to do season two. And Dean isn't making a dime. Tori made sure his contract specified that."

In addition, there's speculation that Spelling might be rebranding herself to help boost her career again as an actress.

Spelling is said to be not only fed up with her marriage, but her lack of work proposals as well. Insiders say she wants to dive back into more projects similar to Mystery Girls.

A source close to the 41-year-old actress, who recently changed her Twitter handle from @ToriandDean to simply @ToriSpelling, told In Touch magazine: ''This is the social media equivalent of a separation. Dean was part of her brand. Now she's adroitly rebranding herself with out.''
