The low-simmering love-triangle story between three of the patients on FOX's Red Band Society will get cranked up a few more notches on the show's third episode, Liar, Liar Pants On Fire.

'Red Band Society' Will Unfold Slowly?

Emma (Ciara Bravo)is somewhat torn between her past brief romance with Leo (Charlie Rowe) and the attraction she feels towards his new roommate, Jordi (Nolan Sotillo), but she may finally make a decision about which guy she would rather be involved with.

In a preview clip for the episode, Bravo hints that fans will start to decide which guy they'll be rooting for her to be with, especially as they learn more about her and Leo's history.

Someone May Die On 'Red Band Society?'

"This is kind of the deciding episode on whether, you know, who you kind of want to root for,"
she says. "You get to see the conflict between Leo and Emma and why they broke up, but the fact that they still secretly like each other, hence the name, Liar, Liar Pants On Fire."

However, when an unexpected visitor shows up for Jordi (guest star Catalina Sandino Moreno), Emma could find herself in conflict with him as well, since her arrival will very clearly destroy Jordi's story about not having any family who can be there for him. And not only will Emma's trust in Jordi be tested by the stranger's--known so far only as Eva-arrival, but Dr. McAndrew's (Dave Annable) trust in him will be on the fence as well.

"In episode 3, there's kind of a huge bombshell that ruins Jordi's story a little bit," Sotillo says in the clip. "Someone associated with him comes to the hospital and it kind of leaves everybody in the hospital wondering who Jordi really is."

Red Band Society airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX.
