The mystery John Doe patient has everyone puzzled on General Hospital because they can't figure out who he is, but the person most important to him could stumble across the truth about his identity.

Jason's Life Hangs In The Balance

The John Doe is actually Jason-back from the dead after Robin's (Kimberly McCullogh) miracle formula. Unfortunately for him, his escape from Crichton-Clark was tainted by Helena's (Constance Towers) arrival. He managed to escape from her henchmen, but was hit by Ava's (Maura West) car in the process, which led to him being brought into GH.

Now, while looking for Patrick (Jason Thompson), Jason's wife, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will stumble into his hospital room to chase their son, Danny, who ran in-and in the process could realize her husband isn't dead after all.

Luke's Secret Identity Revealed?

"Danny, what're you doing?" she says in a preview clip for the Thursday, October 2 episode, as she walks closer to Jason's bed, where her son is clutching his father's hand.

Danny may have some sort of intuition that the man in the bed is his father, but it still may be some time before Sam clues in, as the bandages covering his face will prevent her from getting a closer look at him.

Meanwhile, Patrick is actually upstairs at the hospital, and he will finally share the intel he has gathered about the accident that killed his and Sabrina's (Teresa Castillo) son-and his belief will shock his former fiancee, who was convinced that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was responsible.

"Who do you think did it?" Sabrina asks him in the clip.

'Luke Spencer," Patrick replies.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
