It has been a year since a Pixar film has graced the screen of a movie theater and most people probably are looking for the next one to come out as quickly as possible. Thanks to the first trailer for their latest film, all of the nostalgia is flowing back in with a look back at the studio's history spliced with images of their next journey.

Coming from the director of Monster Inc. and Up, Pete Docter, Pixar released the first teaser trailer for their next film, Inside Out. The film features the voice work of Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black.

Inside Out follows Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like everyone, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy (Poehler), Fear (Hader), Anger (Black), Disgust (Kaling) and Sadness (Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life.

As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

The trailer does a nice job of giving us an image of what each of these emotions are like, but not giving away too much. Instead, it plays off of our love for the other Pixar movies and shows clips of these emotions being used in their other films.

Inside Out is set to open in theaters on June 19, 2015.
