Hadid's birthday was on Thursday, but unfortunately the up-and-coming model couldn't get home on her exact birth date.

Hadid had to wait until this weekend to be with her mom. Hadid had revealed to Lucky Magazine, I think I'm going to go back to LA for the weekend and visit my mom," she said. "I can't wait to see her. It's the first year that I've been away from my family, and all of my friends are away at college in different places, so we're all separated. Foster also tweeted on Friday that she was "waiting for" Hadid to come home.

On Thursday, Foster had tweeted many sweet messages to her daughter including one where she thanked the college student for always being herself.

Hadid also tweed that she couldn't wait to be home and "I can't wait to be in my bed snugglin with" her beloved mother.
