After the release of the latest Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, this star was headed for big things after becoming one of the movie's breakout characters. But is his next role going to be facing Daniel Craig in the next Bond movie?

Daniel Craig May Have Met His Match With This Actress Joining 'Bond 24'

Latino Review released a report on Monday that said David Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in Guardians, is set to take on the role of Hinx, a henchman role that producers were looking to bring in for Bond 24. The initial casting sheet said they wanted someone in the vein of Oddjob or Jaws.

According to the casting sheet, they were ideally looking for someone over 6' 2 and for him to be a 30-45 year-old male. It added that Hinx is the main henchman/assassin and they are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He will have several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training.

This Beautiful Location Will Be The Home Of Some 'Bond 24' Scenes

Bautista definitely fits the bill for an imposing force to be reckoned with. The former wrestler showed his strength in Guardians, but also displayed a level of deadpan comedy that made his character so much more likable. No word yet if he will be able to bring that over to Bond 24, but either way, the guy will be able to create havoc for Craig and the rest of the MI6 members.

Bond 24 is set to begin shooting on Dec. 6 and is planning on filming in England, Austria, Morocco, and most recently Rome. The film stars Craig, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, and Lea Seydoux.

It hits theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.
