Jai Courtney, who plays Kyle Reese in Terminator: Genisys, has recently been dishing about what fans can expect from Genisys as he has been promoting his movie Unbroken in various interviews.

Terminator: Genisys To Be Rated PG-13 Despite "Healthy Amount of Movie Violence"?

The actor spoke to Collider and revealed that the fifth instalment in the iconic series will be quite surprising.

"I think it's going to be really cool what they've done with it.  It's curious, I've been thinking a lot about how we actually frame-people want to know if it's a sequel or a reboot," he said. "A word that kind of came to me is that it's more of a 'reset.'  That's the awesome thing about when you play with time travel.  We can kind of get away with, you know, maybe we're introduced to a world that audiences know but circumstances can change and that shifts the course of everything."

What We Know So Far About Terminator: Genisys

The new film is being directed by Alan Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his role as the iconic mean machine. Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Jason Clarke will be portraying the part of John Connor, and Emilia Clarke will play Sarah Connor. Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) will be playing Detective Cheung, who will "arrest Kyle and Sarah when they arrive in 2017."

While it had been suggested that the film will be a reboot, that is not exactly true. It has been reported that Terminator: Genesis will rewind to the first two films in the series and will move back and forth in the plot with the help of time travel scenes.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to release in July 2015.
