The preview video for the upcoming episode of The Good Wife was also recently revealed and it focusses on the hilarious showdown between Alicia and Elsbeth in the courtroom.

Kyle MacLachlan Will Return For Season 6 Of The Good Wife

So this will be a tough one for fans, as Alicia and recurring character Elsbeth are both loved for the most part. Elsbeth is seen pulling her quirky neurotic shtick in court, when she suddenly hears penguins squawking, after seeing them on a brochure which is provided as evidence.

TVLine exclucively revealed a longer version of the trailer for the episode, entitled Shiny Objects, which features additional bonus footage.

This episode will mark Preston's return on the show, which was confirmed earlier this year. In an interview dated August 17 Preston spoke about her recurring part in season 6 of the show.

Speaking to AssignmentX, the actress stated that she didn't have much information about the next season but suggested that she was pretty sure that her character would be addressing Will's (Josh Charles) death in the next chapter.

"I mean, I would imagine that when I do come back that they will have me at least address that, because my character worked closely with his character, so I'm sure that Elsbeth is going to deal with lots of that," Preston said. "Elsbeth feels things very acutely, so I think they would give me a moment to [react]."

She had no knowledge of how much of her fans would get to see in the next season, but was guessing it would be about the same as in the last.

"I wish it was up to me," she said. "I think it's probably going to be around the same as what I've usually been doing, but I don't know."

The next episode will air The Good Wife will air on Oct. 19 on CBS.
