Gracepoint brings a new suspect to the fore in every episode, and even when it looks like someone is in the clear, actor Michael Pena warns that the investigation could pull a 180.

Who Has Danny's Skateboard On 'Gracepoint'? Susan Wright Raises Suspicion In Sneak Peek

Due to his reluctance to expose his affair, Mark Solano (Pena) spent episode 3 in lock up as a prime suspect in his own son's murder. Although his little tryst with Gemma Fisher appears assure his innocence on the evening of Danny's demise (not counting, of course, his blatant infidelity), the Solano patriarch could still eventually be revealed as the killer.

"I think it will make sense with everyone [if they turn out to be the murderer], to be honest with you," Pena told HitFix. "It's cleverly written that way so that you can - we were having the discussion like who it was going to be, who it was going to be and my castmates we were like, 'Come on just to tell me' and [the showrunners were] like, 'Sorry we just can't let it out.' So I think you can have a backstory for just about everyone, Jesus, just about everyone."
