A new spoiler report reveals that fans won't get to see Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) as the Atom in season 3 of Arrow, as they would get a good dose of that avatar in The Flash.

Flash To Feel "Stuck" As Felicity And Iris Get Along In Season 3 Of Arrow

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TVLine about the possibility of The Atom featuring on Arrow.

"Anything is possible," Guggenheim said. "My instinct is if Ray Palmer is going to shrink he'll probably shrink on another show. With The Flash in existence, there's no compelling reason for us to do superpowers on Arrow." That said, the EP teases, "We have plans for Ray that don't involve shrinking but are actually really cool."

Nyssa al-Ghul And Laurel Reconcile In Next Chapter?

In other related news about Palmer, the synopsis of the second episode hinted at Palmer pursuing Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards).

This had been previously suggested as well, as reports suggested that Palmer might very well be Felicity's new love interest on the CW show. But it is well known that Oliver (Stephen Amell) will be more forthcoming about his feelings toward Felicity. Seems like Palmer will be giving Oliver plenty grief as the tech-powered superhero will also be bidding for ownership for Queen Consolidated.

Amell also gave E!Online a spoiler in this relation, revealing that Palmer will gain power in the board room.

Season 3 premiered on October 8 on The CW.
