A new report has unveiled a juicy bit about the Arrow/Flash crossover episode in season 3. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Iris (Candice Patton) will get along swimmingly in the next chapter, which might be cause of concern of Barry Allen aka Flash (Grant Gustin).

Roy's Former Lover To Return And Take His Mind Off Thea? 

TVLine reported that not only will Felicity be friendly with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) in the next season but she will also be chummy with Iris West. This might pose to be a problem for Barry, as Felicity was his former beau, albeit for a very short while.

Patton, who plays Iris in Flash, spoke to the entertainment publication about this development.

A "Never Seen Before" Avatar Of Arrow To Be Revealed In Season 3 

"[Iris West] does have an opinion on Felicity, and it's all good. She's a fan of Felicity," Patton said. "I think viewers will be very excited to see Barry stuck between these two women. It's so good."

The official synopsis for the premiere of the next season has also recently revealed and it states that Oliver (Stephen Amell) and the new avatar of Roy (Colton Haynes) as Arsenal will be taking on a fresh villain, a revved up Count Vertigo, to be played by guest star Peter Stormare. Before all hell breaks lose, Oliver will actually step back and take stock of his personal life, which will give him the courage to finally ask Felicity out. It has also been suggested that the date will not go smoothly.

The finale of season 2 of Arrow aired on May 14 on the CW. Season 3 premieres on October 8 on The CW.
