It looks as though Jessa Duggar's fiancé Ben Seewald loves to stir controversy whenever he can. While Duggar herself has been rather quiet on her social networking accounts, Seewald has been posting news pieces from around the world on his Facebook account, prompting his followers to complain that he is being "too negative" on his page.

Just last week Seewald shared an article titled, "Iraq Slave Markets Sell Women For $10 To Attract Isis Recruits." He wrote on his Facebook wall, "This is outraging. Women in slavery... being bought and sold... denied dignity and abused and raped. Will we in America close our eyes, plug our ears, and shut our mouth while such vile atrocities are being committed against women and young girls? #abolishslavery #freetheslaves #defendlife #defendhonor."

Many of his followers responded with, "Well you can go over to Iraq and volunteer your services. While this is horrible the USA doesn't have to always involve ourselves. We have enough going on right now," to "How about occasionally posting something positive, Ben? Just sayin?"

Another follower wrote, "What do you have planned, Ben? I'm pretty sure you have no intentions of putting on a uniform and going to fight for their rights; and let's face it, they don't care about your words either."

Back in July, Duggar's fiancé also slammed Catholics for their "deadly errors" in a Facebook rant that he's since deleted.

In the status update he posted last week, the young Christian missionary quoted a scripture and ranted about his "problem" with the Catholic faith.

"I have nothing against individuals who are Catholic. I know a lot of Catholics who are great people," Ben Seewald wrote, according to a screenshot obtained by Radar Online. "What I DO have a problem with is the teaching that man can merit God's favor through his own works or the works of other fallen men."

He then quoted Ephesians 2:8-9, before adding, "I DO have a problem with the teaching that man can come to God through Mary or any other person besides Jesus.... I DO have a problem with the deification of Mary as a sinless being. Mary herself admitted her need for a Savior. If she had no sin, she would need no Savior."

Many of his Facebook followers were quick to criticize Seewald for his post, writing, "I hope you will retract your statement about Catholics" and "I think your intentions were good and I have no problem with you publicly disagreeing with Catholicism, but I do have a problem with you claiming that Catholics believe something that they do not."
