NCIS: Los Angeles fans may be treated to a major Densi episode in "Spiral."

Sam Is Arrested For Murder On 'NCIS: LA', How Will The Team Clear His Name?

Set to film as episode 609, the upcoming installment is penned by Dave Kalstein, the man behind "The Frozen Lake" and "Three Hearts." With such major Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen)/Kensi (Daniela Ruah) stories under his belt, Kalstein might choose to expand on the "partners" growing relationship during "Spiral."

The writer tweeted a text between himself and two other NCIS: LA writers back in September, and their conversation indicates he is the only one of them currently planning a Densi-centric episode (see photo here).

Meanwhile, Olsen recently teased a return of "The Box," and Kalstein was the one behind the package's appearance in "Kill House" and "Three Hearts."

Kalstein could also take a different route - using his episode to send Deeks back to the LAPD. The detective will return home at some point during season 6, and his relationship with Kensi may be the catalyst.

"We don't know why he's sent back to LAPD, we don't know what the fallout is, but my guess is that as we continue with the fever pitch that is Kensi and Deeks that that probably plays a pretty large role in it," Olsen told TV Guide.
