It might have been awhile since VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Stevie J and his ex best friend Benzino got into any spats on social media, but a comment someone made to Benzino referencing Stevie J seemed to strike a chord with Benzino.

The spat began when a news outlet, Fameolous, joined many others and reported that Benzino and his fiancée Althea Heart were fired from the popular series.

Benzino was even rumored to try and persuade the show's creator Mona Scott Young to pay Heart and went as far as "begging Stevie J and Joseline to put in the word with Mona."

Benzino headed over to Twitter to shut down the rumors and call out Fameolous for reporting the news.

"f--- your wack wesbite, who the f--- begged? Keep f----- around and ILL make you beg me not to sue weirdos...my rabbit has more followers than you!! no body knows you period!! Your thee INVISIBLE WEBSITE & BLOG i know PENGUIN blogs with more traffic than you!! wtf does fameoulous mean?? Gtfoh weirdo y'all suck...i will post your fake followers if you keep on now try me".

While there might not be any truth to the reports by Fameolous, it seems like the site's mention of Stevie J angered Benzino enough to go on a rant against it. But he didn't leave the drama on Twitter. He also made it clear on Instagram that he and Heart were not fired from the series.

He shared a meme Monday that reads, "You can't fire a boss". He went on to make a point and wrote, "You didn't get the memo?" in the caption.
