While Gareth (Andrew West) chewing Bob's (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) leg was a huge part of last Sunday's The Walking Dead, another big storyline was Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) trying to get the group to travel to Washington D.C.

Why Glenn 'Holds Out Hope For Humanity,' According To Actor Steven Yeun

Cudlitz said that his character has a lot of respect for the people he's traveling with. "They're a bunch of bada--es," he told Entertainment Weekly after the episode. "He's seen them operate. And they're also family-driven and family-oriented. From what he's seen, everything that they do revolves around taking care of each other. He followed Glenn (Steven Yeun), who was searching for Maggie (Lauren Cohan)."

Cudlitz said that while Abraham was trying to talk Glenn out of it, he was actually right that she was still alive.

"They got back together. He gave them a moment to pause. He has had things happen in his past that we'll come back to and explain why those things are so important to him," he continued. "But he sees people who genuinely care about each other. They're not just a group that happens to be thrown together."

Cudlitz also hinted that Gareth and Terminus continues to come up. "Nobody can be trusted and that is going to play a lot into how they deal with everything and everybody moving forward," he said. "We're gonna see a lot of situations like that come up and choices that everyone makes, either individually or as a group, that come back to haunt them that really do shape the way that they move forward from this point on."

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9 pm E.T. on AMC.
