Mendes has not yet made a public appearance since their daughter's birth, so it is currently unclear if she joined her boyfriend in Atlanta or if she and their daughter stayed behind in L.A.

Gosling was last spotted out in public in early August, just weeks after news of Mendes' pregnancy broke. The news that she was expecting a child became public knowledge in July, when she was already seven months pregnant.

His returning to work comes just days after reports surfaced that his girlfriend was tired of the fame game in Hollywood, and was looking to move to a quiet country home so the couple could raise their daughter outside of Los Angeles.

"It's been tough on her hiding away with so much attention on her, and she's turned into a fierce mama bear," a source said. "She's so fed up with the fame game and couldn't think of anything worse than raising a child in LA."

The source also said that Gosling shared those sentiments, and the couple was looking for ranches outside of Hollywood.

"Ryan's all for it and they're talking about ranches in Utah or Ojai," the source said.
