Country superstar Carrie Underwood and her Nashville Predators husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child together and while the Something In The Water singer is excited about the new addition to their family, she's also a bit concerned when it comes to parenting.

On Monday the 31-year-old performer appeared on ABC's The View to talk about her gig hosting the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley in November. Wearing a pair of bright pink heels and a deep blue printed dress which conveniently disguised her baby bump, the singer did have a few things to say about motherhood.

"I'm due in the spring!" she declared enthusiastically, though she and Fisher have decided to keep the specific due date just between the two of them for the time being. The star spoke with nervous enthusiasm, obviously overjoyed about starting a family though a little fearful of doing something wrong.

"Just being responsible for a tiny human," she admitted. "That's the hardest part."

Underwood and Paisley enjoyed their trip to the morning talk show and Underwood took some time to thank The View on Twitter later that day, adding a pic of her and Paisley ready to go for The CMA Awards next month.

The 48th Annul CMA Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
