As Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard expect their first bundle of joy, they are already looking forward to having more babies.

"We're open to as many children as God will give us," Jill told People magazine in a new interview. "We believe children are a blessing from the Lord and a gift from him."

Dillard, 25, said the couple has discussed adopting a child too. "My mom was adopted," he added.

The 19 Kids and Counting reality star also dished on her pregnancy cravings. "I seem to be following my mom in that, like the dill pickle thing," she said. "In my first trimester it was everything cold because I had nausea. And then I just wanted everything salty, sour, cold."

Aside from sharing her mother's cravings, Duggar also revealed that she calls her mom for advice. Her father, she said, also chimes in to offer some words of wisdom to the young couple. 

"Cherish every moment you have together, especially right now, without little ones running around," the 23-year-old recalled her parents telling them.

Although the couple is very open about the pregnancy, they are still deciding whether or not they will film the birth for the TLC reality show.

"We're still talking about that," she said. "There will definitely be lots of lead up to that. Right now they are filming fun things like the gender reveal and those types of things. Also, we're doing a home diary cam."
