It appears Liz (Megan Boone) has managed to get all the information she possibly can out of Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold), and Megan Boone believes Liz has more emotional - and vengeful - reasons for keeping Berlin's employee under lock and key.

"She decided to keep Tom alive because it was in a misguided effort to reclaim her dignity and her power," Bonne told Entertainment Weekly. "She was so mislead by him. Ultimately, she was made a fool. There will be suggestions in upcoming episodes that she may still have feelings for him, but these are not simple acts of trying to rekindle a romance. She held him prisoner for months and denies him medical care and proper nutrients and everything. This is something much more complicated. It has much more to do with ego than heart."
