It looks like Star Wars: Episode VII has officially wrapped filming based on a message that the filmmakers sent to the cast and crew.

Carrie Fisher To Have A New Look In 'Episode VII?'

The message has been going viral since Friday when Twitter user James Rose posted it on his social media page. It's a photo of a note written by director J.J. Abrams, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and producer Bryan Burk where they express their gratitude to everyone involved.

The note starts off with, "To the extraordinary cast and crew of Episode VII: It is a true honor and absolute joy to come to set every day and work alongside each of you. Your professionalism, passion and patience is more deeply appreciated than we could ever express."

Mark Ruffalo 'Episode VII' Chatter

The message continues with all the places they've been filming and continues with what the filmmakers' goals are that will hopefully be accomplished.

"From the deserts of Abu Dhabi, to the Forest of Dean, to the stages of Pinewood, you have risen to every challenge and been as wonderfully kind as you are brilliantly talented. Our ambition here is large, of course, and it must be; we are here to make a film that entertains millions of people, of all ages, for generations."

More kind words are added, including letting everyone know that there is proof that everyone was a part of this film and they should "wear it proudly." This is likely referring to a hat that can be seen in the photo.

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
