Tyler Perry and Demetria McKinney have worked together for 10 years now. In 2004, she starred in "Madea's Christmas Special" and after, went on to play the beloved Janine Payne on his hit TBS show, "Tyler Perry's House of Payne." Now, the actress and singer has stepped out of the shadow of her characters to just be herself in the new season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta." But, like everyone else he's worked with, she is overjoyed at the news of Tyler Perry's baby boy with his girlfriend Gelila Bekele.

Tasha Smith Dishes on Tyler Perry's New Baby on Wendy Williams!

"I think he'll be a good dad, because he has faced a lot of adversity and still continues to," McKinney revealed in an interview with WetPaint. "Children never come out the way you expect. You can look at a sonogram and see a face and know if it's a boy or a girl, but you don't know what kind of personality or characteristics or mindset that baby is going to grow into having. And as long as he can adapt to who that baby is, the same way he has adapted to this industry, he'll be great."

Unlike the hilarious Tasha Smith, Demetria has yet to meet Perry's on-and-off again girlfriend, Gelila. The two have reportedly dated for years, under the radar, so it's no surprise that she has yet to come across the beautiful woman carrying Perry's first child. Still, she plans on getting the couple something to celebrate the baby, but admitted that she has no idea where to start.

20 Things We Can't Wait to See on the New Season "Real Housewives of Atlanta"

"What do you get the man who has everything?" she told Wetpaint.  "I am going to get him some extra diapers and some formula, because you can never have too much." A safe and necessary choice, well done Demetria.
