More than one thousand family and friends gathered to watch the beautiful "19 Kids & Counting" star, Jessa Duggar, walk down the aisle.  After a whirlwind 4-month engagement, 21-year-old Jessa and 19-year-old Ben got married this past weekend in Bentonville Arkansas at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville.

According to People, the bride waited to wear her wedding dress in front of Ben at the wedding ceremony and not before, which is pretty traditional for most American brides.  But, with other details, the bride adhered to the guidelines of her parents' religious views, as fans see on their hit TLC show.  Her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle beamed with pride.

Though planning a wedding might seem like a daunting task for a 21-year-old to take on, Jessa wanted to be involved in all of the details.  The colors of the event were navy, grey and coral.  Instead of having a glamorous, traditional cake, the bride and groom opted to serve ice cream sundaes.  Her co-star and sister Jinger was her maid of honor while Ben's aunt Rebecca sang "Love Never Fails" as she walked down the aisle, rounding out the family affair.

But, unlike the traditional standard, Jessa and Ben did not have their first kiss after they exchanged vows, which is veritably unheard of these days.  The two wanted their first intimate moment to be private which, after months of dating without even holding hands, makes complete sense.

Congrats to Ben and Jessa Seewald!  Would you want to kiss your bride or groom in private?  Let us know in the comments below.
