USA basketball player Carmelo Anthony faced an injury on Aug. 6 that hurt so badly, he had to scrunch up on the floor with his hands cupping his groin and pose a pain-filled expression that was sad to watch.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Anthony yelled at Argentinean basketball player Facundo Campazzo "for jabbing him between the legs and running away" during the men's preliminaries and Anthony's teammates kept up the volume.

Team America's Tyson Chandler and Deron Williams screamed at the Argentinean players as the benched players just kept pointing fingers at Argentina, bellowing threats all around the court.

After some time, Anthony managed to get up but Argentina tried to brush off the entire incident as if it was no big deal.

"Campazzo got hit in the [groin], too," Luis Scola, from Team Argentina, said. "That stuff happens."

Campazzo claimed that Chris Paul from Team USA allegedly punched him earlier in the game.

The player later stated that he would not issue any post-game official apology to Anthony, according to Yahoo, especially because Paul never apologized to him.

In the midst of Anthony's pain though, USA claimed victory over Argentina, 126-97.

Team USA will play against Australia in the quarterfinals on Aug. 8 at 5:15 p.m., Eastern time.
