Infamous mass murder Charles Manson, 80, is set to say his "I dos" with 26-year-old Afton Elaine Burton after she has attempted to exonerate him for nearly the past decade.

According to AP, Burton is excited to spend the rest of her life with the man she loves, who has been convicted in very high profile murders of seven victims, one being Sharon Tate, who was pregnant.

Burton, who likes to be called Star, confirmed the news with the site.

"Y'all can know that it's true. It's going to happen. I love him. I'm with him. There's all kinds of things."

She also pointed out that she does plan to continue helping him be exonerated, and becoming his wife will certainly help.

"There's certain things next of kin can do," she said.

Still, Tate's sister is livid that any woman wants to marry Manson.

"I think it's insane. What would any young woman in her right mind want with an 80-year-old man?"

While Burton seems to have her own ideas, Tate believes Manson has a few things up his sleeve.

"The devil is alive and well."

The couple obtained a marriage license from The Kings County. It was issued on Nov. 7. Although a specific date has not been revealed, they have been given a wedding planner courtesy of the prison. They must tie the knot before mid-February hits or else they will have to reapply.

Manson will not be up for parole until 2027.
