He wanted to get revenge on his brother and wife for betraying him, but Rick's (Jacob Young) schemes may have backfired in ways he never expected on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick Tries To Sabotage Ridge & Caroline's Show

The new CEO of Forrester Creations purposely tried to sabotage Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Caroline's (Lindsey Godfrey) new couture line by setting ridiculous prices to the gowns that should turn customers away-but much to his shock and surprise, the reception to the dresses-and their prices-was overwhelmingly positive, and now his plan to humiliate the ones who hurt him has gone against him.

"This whole line should have sucked! I mean, these prices, they're laughable! I hate this!" he says to Maya (Karla Mosley) in a preview clip for the Friday, Nov. 21 episode.

Caroline Wonders How Much More Of Rick's Anger She Has To Take

Adding insult to his injuries, Eric (John McCook) will learn of his schemes and could once again change his mind on who will be the CEO of the company after realizing Rick went against the promises he made that he wouldn't use his position of power to get revenge.

"A temporary boost in sales is not going to mean one d-n thing if people realize the CEO of this company is acting like a petulant child!" Eric says to his son in the clip. "You're done."

If Rick does lose the CEO position for his antics, it would also mean one other loss for him-Maya. The two rekindled their romance after he learned of Caroline's betrayal, but Maya has made it clear to everyone else that she is only interested in Rick's name and the power, prestige and wealth that come with it. If he loses his new title, she may find herself once again as a nobody within the company's ranks.

For now though, she's still confident, despite warnings from her former fiancé Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) that her time as the star of the company could be short-lived.

"Be careful Maya, it might turn out you're just the stepsister trying to cram her foot into Caroline's shoe," he says.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
