William Shatner himself will drop by the troubled town during season 5B, Syfy announced on Friday.

The Star Trek legend will have a crucial role to play in the seaside hamlet. Set for a four episode arc, it is currently unknown if the unnamed character will be friend or foe.

The Shat isn't the only guest star booked for the second half of the 26-episode season. Laura Mennell's Dr. Cross will continue to feature as the series moves forward, as will Jay Reso's McHugh (set to appear in "Chemistry") and Kris Lemche's Seth Byrne of the Dark Side Seekers.

In the meantime, however, Haven still needs to deal with its Mara problem. The troublemaker has her claws in Duke (Eric Balfour), and it looks like the golden trio is falling apart at the seams.

There are three episodes left until the midseason hiatus, including "Reflections," "Chemistry," and "Chosen."
