Ribeiro won Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night, having the highest combined score from the judges and America. The actor's costar in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, movie star Will Smith, may have been the one to push him over the edge.

Smith posted a message on Facebook on Monday telling his over 74 million followers to vote for Ribeiro.

"That was really awesome," Ribeiro said after winning, via E! Online. "I love you, Will. He jumped out there and showed us the love. Hopefully that was a little bit of help to get us over the top."

After the winner announcement, Smith posted again on Facebook, writing, "Congrats Alf. You killed it - Just like I taught You!" alongside a photo of the two of them dancing.

Winning Dancing With the Stars is something Ribeiro had wanted for a long time.

"We've got a mirror-ball! Wild!" Ribeiro said. "When you want something for so long, it's just unbelievable when you finally get it. You never know if you'll ever get it and there have been many times where I said to myself, 'This is never going to happen. I'm never going to do the show, they're never going to let me do it, and that's what it's going to be.' And then I got the phone call, and then four months later I got a mirror-ball!"

Dancing With the Stars returns for season 20 in March 2015.
