Carrie Underwood may not eat turkey, but that didn't stop the star from taking over the kitchen for Thanksgiving on Thursday.

The vegan country music singer, who recently switched to being a vegetarian while she is pregnant, wished friends and fans a Happy Thanksgiving on Twitter Thursday, offering a glimpse into how she would be spending the holiday.

Underwood indeed has plenty to be thankful for. She's got a new album coming out in December and released the hit single Something In The Water earlier this fall. The country artist is also expecting her first child, a baby boy, this spring with husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators.

Underwood announced that she and her hubby are expecting a baby on Sept. 1, and while the singer has managed to keep things fancy on the red carpet, she is a big fan of her maternity pants. In fact, after dinner on Thursday she decided that they may be great to hold onto for every Thanksgiving from now on.
