With all destruction breaking loose in Asgard once Thor gets back, the God of Thunder could be getting the first hint of this event happening at his home during a post-credit sequence at the end of the next Marvel movie.

'Avengers 2' Could Force Thor To Leave The Team Heading Into Future Movies

Thor is on Earth and set to help the Avengers with Ultron during their second feature, but it seems like the hero will be leaving quickly afterwards as he heads back to Asgard to stop its destruction as part of Ragnarok with Loki at the helm. But when will he learn about this?

Idris Elba already said that he, Hemsworth, and Tom Hiddleston shot a scene together for Avengers: Age of Ultron and while it could end up in the movie since Joss Whedon most likely directed it, it also could be a post-credit tease.

Will Thor Have A Clone Made By Iron Man After His Death In 'Avengers 2?'

While the director of the movie usually directs the post-credit scene, Whedon may have taken on the Thor one since they have not announced anyone in charge of Thor 3 at this point. It also would maybe work better as a tease rather than taking up time during the plot of the story.

The rumor around this scene is that Scarlet Witch could use her telepathic powers to show Thor what Loki did and what Asgard has in store for him. This could lead to the hero leaving Earth and going to Asgard to save his people.

While Marvel may look to tease Ant-Man with one of the slots, this could be the other scene that works its way into the credits of the second Avengers movie.
