Haven fans should gear up for an intense conclusion to season 5A.

If recent episodes are any indication, Haven's writers aren't holding back on the bombshells this year. From Charlotte's shocking discovery to Duke's (Eric Balfour) new ailments, season 5 has treated fans to a Trouble rollercoaster, and the ride won't slow down for the finale.

Titled "Chosen," the Dec. 5 episode will bring in a new trouble, a creepy ending, some major sacrifices, and a few choice words between Mara (Emily Rose) and Audrey (Emily Rose), according to TV Line.

If fans are wondering if they need to have tissues handy, Balfour believes "it's a distinct possibility" that some viewers will find themselves in tears by time the "Chosen" comes to an end.

However, as with any finale, "Chosen" will leave fans anxiously waiting for the 5B premiere.

"We did from the very get-go think of it as two seasons," said writer Brian Millikin, according to Revisiting Haven. Speaking of the finale and premiere, Millikin noted "one follows the other, but one is the season finale-ish the other one is the premiere-ish where, but you're not supposed to have that now. But yeah, but it should be good, they both should be good."
