While Tom Cruise has performed some insane stunts in his time, including a recent one that had him 5,000 feet in the air, the action star had a recent close call with a bus while filming in London.

Tom Cruise Seen Performing His Most Dangerous Stunt Ever For 'Mission: Impossible 5'

Entertainment Tonight caught video evidence on Wednesday of Cruise while he was filming on the streets of London for Mission: Impossible 5 and the actor was just about hit by a bus. He was filming a scene when a famous red, double-decker bus came barreling in and had to honk to move the actor out of its way.

Cruise seemed okay afterwards as he enjoyed a small chat with a man close by who was clearly joking about the mega-star almost taking a huge hit while walking around Piccadilly Circus.

British Actor Joins 'Mission: Impossible 5' To Play Rebecca Ferguson's Boss

Cruise is joined by Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, Jeremy Renner, Simon McBurney and Sean Harris as the new cast for the next Mission: Impossible films in London after a stop in Vienna. There are rumors that the film could be taking their production inside the British House of Parliament making it the first movie ever to film there.

As for the rest of the film, it seems to be coming along as production should be wrapping up pretty soon. While the last movie was called Ghost Protocol, the new film has yet to announce whether it will go with a title or just be a normal numeral like the previous three installments.

Mission: Impossible 5 is set to come out on Christmas Day 2015.
