Fox's Glee has a new video recapping where everyone left off in the season 5 finale as "gleeks" around the world prepare for the sixth and final season in January.

Pam Anderson Featured In Final Season of 'Glee' As Blaine's Mom?

The new video, posted Friday on the official Glee YouTube channel, features Lea Michele (who plays Rachel), Darren Criss (Blaine), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Chord Overstreet (Sam) talking about where each of there characters left off since we last saw them.

"Where we left off at the end of season 5, all of the New York kids were each sort of going in their own directions and Rachel was off to Los Angeles to work on her pilot," Michele explains. Later in the video, Michele adds, "She's saying goodbye to the city, off to LA, and then somehow gets me back here," referring to the glee choir room in Ohio.

Meanwhile, things were going great for Blaine and Kurt (Chris Colfer).

"He was moving in with Kurt Hummel and everything was coming up roses," Criss says in the video.

Morrison notes that Will and Emma (Jayma Mays) had their baby, saying it was "better for everyone" that it was offscreen.

Riley says that her character Mercedes "left off going on tour; she broke up with Sam," which leads into Overstreet saying "[Sam] was modeling and in love with Mercedes, broke up with Mercedes, quit modeling after he had success on the side of the bus, and then he went back to Ohio and then he looked into the glee choir room and there was just computers."

With everyone doing their own thing when we last saw them, it looks like they will all be coming back together in the place they originated: Lima, Ohio. Rachel is back and teaching the glee club, Blaine and Kurt are back for separate reasons and everyone else makes their way back eventually, either for a class reunion or other reasons.

Glee returns for its final season Friday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
