Annie Is More Dedicated To Finding Auggie Than Ever On 'Covert Affairs,' Does She Think His Capture Is Her Fault?

In a sneak peek that TV Guide posted on Thursday, Arthur tries his hardest to find out what ties the diplomats and the Russian embassy, but seems go hit a dead end.

When Joan walks into the office, Arthur is on the phone with someone. As he hangs up, Joan can tell the dissatisfaction that Arthur is feeling.

Is The Spy Life Getting In The Way Of Auggie & Annie On 'Covert Affairs?'

"I don't get it," she tells Arthur. "The guy's Chechen posing as a Georgian diplomat. Why are the Russians willing to hide him?"

Arthur's theory is that Belenko has something on someone that is keeping them quiet.

"You can't leverage people forever. Eventually they'll turn on you," Joan replied.

Could Joan's comment on people turning on you be referring to the "chilling confrontation" Auggie's past is going to lead him to?

In this episode, Annie and McQuad will sneak into Russian territory to hunt down Belenko on their own.
