She managed to survive her fall down a cement staircase with just a few scratches, but Hope's (Kim Matula) baby with Wyatt (Darin Brooks) was unfortunately not as lucky on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Four Ways Hope May Leave The Show

Doctors couldn't find a heartbeat after Liam (Scott Clifton) brought her to the hospital, confirming her baby hadn't survived the fall, devastating the mom-to-be. And now, she will realize how much more devastating the news is after she thinks back on everything she gave up in order to be a mom-including all chances at a future of any kind with Liam.

"I'm sorry," she says to him in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Dec. 9 episode.

Liam Comes To Hope's Rescue

'Don't be sorry," he replies.

"I've gone about so many things the wrong way," she says.

Since Hope said her official goodbye to Liam, he had since moved on with Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer)-though he never stopped being there for his ex-fiancee turned sister-in-law.

While Liam comforts the upset Hope, her husband, who is still unaware of what happened, will potentially become completely clued in after he continues trying to get his mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer) to explain what has her acting so scared and strange.

"Pretending you can't hear me right now is not going to make me go away," he says to her in the clip. "You saw Liam, you saw Hope. What, together?" he asks.

Quinn did of course see the two together, as she was there when Hope fell-and was pushed aside when Liam arrived because she was never wanted there in the first place-and she may have finally seen how her past antics made her look in the eyes of everyone around her-prompting her acting strangely in front of her son and being too scared and shocked to tell him what happened to his wife.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
