Former Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Cheryl Burke isn't slowing down after retiring from the show this fall.

Will Smith Tipped Alfonso Ribeiro Over The Edge To Win 'Dancing With the Stars'?

Burke left Dancing With the Stars after this fall's 19th season, in which she competed with actor Antonio Sabato Jr., but it looks like she isn't taking much of a break because a new report claims that she's going back to performing soon.

"Cheryl is leaving the ABC series for a new variety show on NBC," a source told Us Weekly in a new report. "The new NBC show is in its very early stages, but likely will be a competition reality series and Burke will perform."

Will Maks Chmerkovskiy Replace Len Goodman At 'DWTS' Judging Panel Next Year?

The 30-year-old Burke won Dancing With the Stars during her first two seasons with the show (seasons 2 and 3) and made the finals on multiple occasions, most recently with reality star Jack Osbourne in season 17.

Dancing With the Stars is gradually losing some of its major talent. After season 18 in the spring they lost fan favorite pro Maks Chmerkovskiy and next year, after season 20, head judge Len Goodman is slated to depart the series.

It remains to be seen if DWTS producers will dip back into the pool of the show's past and enlist in previous pro dancers who have left the show to either perform again or judge.

The premiere date of the NBC variety show is unknown at this time though it likely won't be premiering in this TV season.

Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season in March on ABC, though a specific premiere date has not yet been announced.
