She has alternated between blaming herself, her mother-in-law, and her husband for the loss of her unborn baby, but Hope (Kim Matula) will receive some encouraging words from her ex-fiance to try and help her get over her miscarriage on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Hope Blames Wyatt For Their Tragic Loss

Hope previously blamed Wyatt (Darin Brooks) for not being successful at keeping Quinn (Rena Sofer) away from her, resulting in the couple having a potentially marriage-ending fight. Hope then went to the scene of her accident, and was reliving it in her head when Liam showed up to comfort her. Now, the former lovers will reflect on their past and everything that led them to this moment-and Liam will try to help Hope cope with her loss by shifting the blame of her fall back to Quinn.

"This was because of Quinn, and I am not letting you blame yourself," he says to her in a preview clip for the Friday, Dec. 12 episode.

Hope Aplogizes To Liam

Who is really to blame for the tragic accident and loss has been something everyone has mulled with, as Hope has blamed herself for tripping on her own heels, Wyatt for not keeping Quinn away, and Quinn for being at Brooke's house in the first place, because Hope wouldn't have gone outside if she hadn't been there. But while Hope does potentially except her own responsibility in the accident, others are refusing to blame her-and instead, Quinn is once again the target of everyone's anger.

Perhaps the most angry with her is Wyatt's father, Bill (Don Diamont), who is heartbroken that yet another one of his sons suffered through his first child being lost because of a miscarriage-and this time around he is thoroughly blaming Quinn for how things happened.

"Both my boys lose their first child, Liam with Steffy, Wyatt now with Hope," he says to Katie (Heather Tom) in the clip. "This horrific loss is completely her fault."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
